BOCCE COURTS

Bocce courts are typically unique in design and construction when compared to each other. Length, width, choice of materials, and even the playing surface have a certain arbitrary nature to them. While some dispute that Bocce is the fastest growing activity in the United States, Bocce courts are becoming commonplace and seemingly everyone has played. Whether you are interested in a court for private use or you represent a municipality, take advantage of Boccemon's knowledge and willingness to help. We have consulted private individuals with a passion for bocce, as well some of the largest developers in the country. We sell bulk oyster blend for you to surface your own court.

Boccemon

Boccemon is a small family owned corporation that supplies easy to apply and maintain Bocce Court surfaces. Boccemon Rain Country Blend (RCB) is used across the United States, in Canada, Iraq, and even Dubai. We are also helping clients in our own community. Folks are attracted to us because we are deeply vested in the game. Bocce is part of our daily routine and this is the reason you should be calling us. Although many of the projects we work on are for private individuals, we also collaborate with park departments, municipalities, corporations, wineries, breweries, and many home owner associations. We ship our Rain Country Blend worldwide. Clients build the perimeter and base, and use RCB to top dress the surface.

BEAM CLAY® / PARTAC PEAT CORPORATION
BEAM CLAY® / PARTAC PEAT CORPORATION

For serious bocce players, properly maintained natural clay makes the best playing surface. Partac Peat Corporation makes Beam Clay® Bocce Court Mix in red, orange, brown, tan and grey from natural clays. These install 3" to 4" deep compacted over a firm drainage base. A properly maintained clay court is firm and yet has bounce or "life" to it. For those less dedicated to maintaining a bocce court, a stone dust, oyster shell, brick dust or "Fast Dry" court may be preferable as these dry quickly after rain and generally only require a light raking, occasional rolling, and watering. The media often refer to these "Fast Dry" courts as "clay" courts; however they are finely crushed green or red aggregates with a gypsum binder which, when moist, provide a "clay - like" playing surface and are much easier to install and maintain.
