MODULAR GREEN
ROOF SYSTEMS
GreenGrid Roofs

Unlike layered-style and hybrid systems, GreenGrid Modules from GreenGrid Roofs remain modular once they are installed. This allows for easy access to the underlying waterproofing system. Roof repairs are inevitable at some point along the life of the roofing materials. The advantage of being able to easily access the roof saves the cost of having to also repair the area of vegetation that must be disturbed to access the roof. GreenGrid Modules can be removed, set aside, and replaced once repairs are made.

PROJECTS
Columbia Green Technologies

Columbia Green Technologies's has installed hundreds of projects across North America. The projects below are some examples of green roofs that Columbia Green and our partners have completed. GREEN ROOF BLOCKS
Green Roof Blocks

Green Roof Blocks' green roof systems are bringing simple solutions to green building. Our flagship product, Green Roof Blocks, is a completely self contained module fabricated of high grade anodized aluminum. Using our exclusive stacking technology, fully mature Green Roof Blocks can be stacked 28 to a standard 4ft x 4ft pallet and shipped to the project 22 pallets per truckload.

"HYBRID" MODULAR
SYSTEM
LiveRoof, LLC

LiveRoof, LLC has developed a patented “hybrid” modular system which combines the best features of all existing types of green roofing. LiveRoof provides the Natural Function and Natural Beauty of “built in place” green roof systems but without the extensive ongoing costs of maturation. LiveRoof offers the speed of installation of modules but without grid lines or compartmentalization of soil. LiveRoof systems offer the prevegetation of carpet or sod-like green roof systems but with a broader plant palette and without the need for excessive watering and maintenance required by mat systems (for establishment).

Simply arrange the green roof modules on the rooftop, it’s just that easy. It all starts with our aluminum module. Sturdy construction and anodizing ensures a service life exceeding 100 years. Green Roof Blocks' growth media will never break down and has been engineered to produce optimal plant grow for the life of the green roof system. After two or three growing seasons, the plants meld together to form a homogenous carpet of greenery.
