With his discharge pay from the Army, Cal Doty and his father, Lavern, started Doty & Sons Concrete Products in 1948. Later, his wife Helen and his twin sons, Tom and Sam, joined the business which has evolved over the years. Today, we manufacture a variety of styles of precast concrete waste receptacles, planters, benches and other products, many of which were designed by Cal and his sons. We provide high quality standard and customized products for both large and small projects. We also work with architects and designers to make custom items to fit the individual needs of their projects. Our centralized location assures reasonable shipping costs to all U.S. locations. LumberCon USA is a specially reinforced concrete plank that can be used and handled like lumber. Some of the common uses for the planks include decking, boardwalks, docks, marinas, landscape timber, replacement for metal pans used when pouring concrete, pedestrian bridges, or any construction project where extra durability, resistance to a harsh environment, or fire protection is needed. LumberCon has a greater span capacity than wood lumber of equal size and will not burn, rot, warp, rust, delaminate or splinter. It does not require chemical treatment for insects, ground contact, or below grade uses. CEME-TUBE® is an innovative new product to replace the cardboard forming tube. The Light Pole CEME-TUBE® revolutionizes the installation of light pole footings. This CEME-TUBE® is manufactured in reflective caution yellow, concrete gray, or architectural bronze colors. All of which contain strong UV inhibitors to protect the CEME-TUBE® from fading. The Bollard CEME-TUBE® is designed to provide easy installation of a maintenance free, pour-in-place Bollard. This Bollard CEME-TUBE® is an 8" standard CEME-TUBE® molded in night reflective, caution yellow. A strong UV inhibitor keeps the CEME-TUBE® from fading. Filling the Bollard CEME-TUBE® with re-bar reinforced concrete completes the installation. The CEME-TUBE® contains post-consumer content and is designed to outperform the cardboard tube in every aspect of use.
